The L. Louise Lucas Legal Defense Fund was created to help cover the costs of Senator Lucas's legal representation so she can keep serving the people of Portsmouth, Chesapeake and the Commonwealth.

For more than three decades, Senator L. Louise Lucas has represented her community in the Virginia Senate.
First elected in 1992, she represents Virginia's 18th Senate District, serving Portsmouth and Chesapeake, and today is President pro tempore of the Senate of Virginia.
This fund exists to make sure she has the legal resources she needs while she continues that work. Responding to an ongoing legal matter takes experienced counsel, and that counsel is costly. Every contribution goes directly to her legal team.
